Providing affordable, quality education is the primary goal of the Gandhi Seva Sadan Charitable Trust (GSSCT). The Trust is dedicated to nurturing students' intellectual, moral, and practical abilities, ensuring they grow into well-rounded individuals ready to face modern-day challenges. GSSCT emphasizes both academic excellence the development of values that foster a socially responsible mindset.

The following are the institutes under GSSCT:

SADANAM INSTITUTE OF COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES (SICOMS)

SICOMS Palakkad is being developed as a centre for excellence in management education. The institute runs a two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management approved by AICTE under the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India.

SICOMS was established in 2008 and provides industry relevant specialisations in management studies. The curriculum is benchmarked to the best management institutes in the country with a judicious mix of theoretical knowledge and practical industry experience. In its 16th year now, SICOMS has a remarkable success rate of 100% placement for graduating students.

SADANAM KUMARAN COLLEGE (SKC)

Sadanam Kumaran College, Pathirippala, established in 2012, is affiliated to University of Calicut and offers nine undergraduate programmes [B.Com. (Finance), B.Com.(Computer Application), B.Com (Co- operation), B.B.A., B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, BA English, BA (Music) and BSW (Bachelor of Social Work)] and one post-graduate degree programme [M.Com. (Finance)].

Calicut University’s Four-Year Under Graduate Programme (FYUGP) is designed in accordance with the student-centric, holistic, skill-based learning principles envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. With six functional departments – Commerce, Computer Science, Management Studies, Social Work, English, and Music – we offer a truly multidisciplinary undergraduate programme with choices of majors and minors across a wide variety of disciplines.

SADANAM ACADEMY FOR PERFORMING ARTS (SAPA)

SAPA was established in 2022 with the vision of providing training in Indian dance forms, arts and music to interested people of all ages. The academy currently offers programs in bharatanatyam, mohiniyattam, violin, guitar, keyboard, classical (Carnatic) music and kalarippayattu, under the guidance of experts and practicing artists.

Students of SICOMS, SKC and Saroj have access to SAPA courses of their choice for free. For others who have a keen interest in learning any of the performing arts, the training is provided at a nominal fee. The academy encourages all people pursue their creative interests, irrespective of their age.

SAROJ PLAY AND LEARN SCHOOL

Recognising the critical need for a well-rounded early childhood care and education as the foundation for the holistic development of young people, the trust established Saroj in 2021. The school enrols children in the 1.5-6 age groups and has Playgroup, Nursery (LKG, UKG) and Primary sections (Class I).

Saroj fosters an environment for joyful learning, self-expression through creativity and communication, cooperation, and values. We work to provide the children a safe and secure space, with strong focus on their health and hygiene, nutrition, physical development and emotional well-being.
